Kinda Blue is a mixed bag of jazz and blues with a twist of traditional New Orleans R&B, with original music. Leader Eric Morel-Ensminger has deep experience with New Orleans music -- he is Deacon John's current trumpeter and has played every major NOLA music festival. Trio members Paul McAllen and Greg Schatz, nominee for best NOLA songwriter, are also well-known and respected NOLA musicians with equally deep NOLA experience.
